Physical description

A wood spearthrower in two parts with an elliptical concave shaft and a wood peg attached with resin and sinew at an acute angle to shaft at the distal end. The proximal end is narrowed, flattened and covered by knob of adhesive, possibly beeswax. It has adze marks both sides. Textile sting is wound round the neck.
