Physical description

A postcard featuring a colour sketch of four men lying in a tent. Another man is poking his head through the door of the tent and is holding a match. Printed text reads in part "Sketches / of Tommy's life / At the Base - No 3" and "When I got ready to go to bed, I found I was kindly permitted to sleep on / a triangular space large enough to accomodate a small slice of mince pie." The image is signed by F. Mackain. Printed text on the back of the postcard reads "Imp. G. SAVIGNY, Paris. - P.G.
